Technical Reporting & Engineering Support

Clients receive comprehensive engineering reports detailing evaluation results, benchmarking insights, and recommendations for operational improvements, delivered within two weeks of receipt of all required data.

Detailed EPro+ evaluation reports

Calculated firing temperatures benchmarked against design and your control system’s setpoints; compressor and turbine efficiency and mass flow results with expected values for comparison; exhaust temperature spread analysis; and a clear split between recoverable and non-recoverable degradation. All of your evaluated data is returned to you. No black box.

Operational recommendations and optimization guidance

Prioritized, actionable recommendations, from firing temperature adjustment to optimize capacity, efficiency, and component life, to targeted follow-ups on the compressor, cooling air systems, or instrumentation. Where an evaluation shows the engine is away from design, we support engine adjustment to design through a complete commissioning process, including minimum flow runs, protection checks, exhaust temperature verification, part load mapping, and engine adjustments at full load.

Under contract? No problem.

Many of the plants we work with operate under long-term service agreements, where firing temperatures and engine settings cannot simply be changed unilaterally. That is no obstacle. In fact, it is where we are at our strongest. Our team combines expert engineering support for gas and steam turbine facilities with strategic LTSA negotiation and contract advisory: commercial guidance designed to align technical realities with contractual obligations, operational planning, and long-term financial performance.

Armed with an independent EPro+ evaluation, we work with you, and where needed alongside you at the table with your service provider, to turn technical findings into negotiated outcomes: engine adjustments delivered under your agreement, performance restored, and fleet reliability improved. It is the approach that defines us: where turbine expertise meets commercial strategy.

Additional engineering technical support

Follow-up technical support is included with every evaluation. Beyond the report, we can support ongoing performance monitoring and periodic re-evaluation, for example every six months or a cadence matched to your outage cycle, turning your baseline into a degradation trend you can act on.

Where Turbine Expertise Meets Commercial Strategy

Independent evaluations give you the technical facts. Our commercial and contract experience turns those facts into results, bridging the gap between technical engineering and commercial contract intelligence, whether your major maintenance is self-performed/transactional or under a long-term service agreement.

Representative outcomes

  • Engine adjustments corrected years of firing temperature drift, resulting in an uplift of 4 MW at full load.
  • Commissioning with engine adjustment delivered an 8 MW pre-to-post improvement, with approximately 2.5 MW attributable to firing temperature adjustment alone.
  • A thermodynamic analysis showed a suspected firing temperature deficiency was actually a compressor mass flow issue, redirecting the owner to the real root cause before money was spent in the wrong place.
